Ekaterina Tain, Retail Sales Director at PSN Group, has held an online conference devoted to the subject of "New Construction Market".

Over the course of a two-hour online conference on the IRN.RU website, Ekaterina Tain answered over 20 questions from users. Most buyers are interested in finding out whether the downward trend in home prices will continue and how profitable it is to buy housing in Moscow Region. The expert pointed out that buyers should not expect prices to go down any further, since the economic situation in the country has stabilized, which means that prices for new construction properties might go up somewhat.

“Our statistics and observations show that the period of active price drops and aggressive dumping is gradually coming to an end. We currently have an optimal correlation between home prices and loan interest rates,” Ekaterina Tain answered one of the questions.

The expert also discussed the latest trends in the residential construction market: “Integrated territory development projects are currently the most promising. Speaking of locations, Moscow's South-East is currently the most ambitious district. To quote analysts, the South-East is the new metropolitan trend. Note that the price differences between the South-East and the West are close to 42%. That's why buying a flat in projects set in the South-East could prove a smart investment in the future.”
