MINI EXHIBITION OF RARE HERMES SCARVES AT I'M AND POLYANKA/44 SALES OFFICES09/03/2017
The Silk Labyrinth exhibition opened in the White Hall of the All-Russian Museum of Decorative, Applied, and Folk Art. The event is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the creation of the first Hermes scarf. PSN Group is a partner of the exhibition. Part of the exhibition is displayed at the sales offices of elite residential quarters I'M and POLYANKA/44.
To celebrate the 180th anniversary of the Hermès House, collectors Alexander Tsybin and Ekaterina Tsybina decided to exhibit their private collection, Maison Carré Foundation, which ranks among the three largest collections in the world.
The Silk Labyrinth exhibition will feature 115 of the rarest Hermès scarves which continue to arouse adoration and admiration in countless celebrities.
The exhibition will consist of three mini expos. The first of them will display a collection of the earliest and rarest scarves by Hermes, created between 1930 and 1960. The second section of the exhibition will feature scarves inspired by Russian culture and history. The third expo will display limited- and special-edition scarves dedicated to celebrities or major historical events.
A separate exhibition will feature graphical artwork by Russian artist Alexandra Koltsova-Bychkova, who created clothing and accessory designs for the House of Hermès back in 1929. Two unique chairs by the Italian artist Carla Tolomeo will be among the exhibition’s most valuable items. The sculptured chairs, over 2m tall, will be upholstered with velour and vintage scarves by Hermès.
