With support from Frida Project Foundation and PSN Group, an exhibition of Vladimir Klavikho-Telepnev opens at ROSNANO Vladimir Klavikho-Telepnev is a leading master of modern Russian photographic art. His work is unbelievably popular and every exhibition, and they take place all over the world, becomes a major event it its own right. It is all the more unique given that, as part of the «Portraits on a Tree» exhibition, the viewer is shown a new series of works on a tree by Vladimir Klavikho-Telepnev, never seen before. On the exhibition’s opening day Anatoly Chubais, Chairman of the Board at ROSNANO, gave a welcoming address, while Vladimir Klavikho-Telepnev gave a tour of the new exposition for the guests and spoke of the history of each photograph that he had created at different periods of time. The exhibition’s opening was attended by such prominent figures from the world of art, business and patronage as Ilya Trunin, Director of the Taxation and Customs Tariff Policy of the Russian Finance Ministry, Anton Gopka, Chairman of the Management Board and General Partner of ATEM Capital management company, Alexander Yudin, managing director of the Interior Extra Class series of salons, Alexander Tyagny-Ryadno, Secretary of the Union of Photographic Artists of Russia and member of the Union of Journalists and the UNESCO International Federation of Artists, Oleg Kiselev, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Rosnano, and others. The exhibition will run until the end of July 2015. The work of Vladimir Klavikho-Telepnev featured in the auction bidding at PHILLIPS de Pury in New York and London, at GENE SHAPIRO in New York and at HERITAGE AUCTIONS in New York. His works are found in the private collections of Elton John, Dmitry Medvedev, Nursultan Nazarbayev, Princess Michael of Kent (Marie Christine), and Peter Greenaway.
