PSN Group’s Polyanka/44 elite mansion complex received the top prize in the Best Implemented Project in the Field of Integrated Improvement of Living Environment category at the 10th Russian National Award for Landscape Architecture.

The beautification concept for the Polyanka/44 project was developed by Gillespies landscape bureau. The project was implemented by the company LK Parkland. Inside an enclosed area of 0.8 hectares, an English garden was created with an authentic natural landscape atmosphere, including various types of plants (mountain pine, linden, spruce, birch, hawthorn, maple, juniper) and combinations of different shrubs. The garden is decorated with ornamental grapevines and floral arrangements. The plants were brought from Lappen Baumschule, the oldest nursery in Germany. In addition, a stream and fountain installation — unique for an urban environment — was created on the territory of the complex. For children, the courtyard offers a play space made of natural materials from Germany’s Richter Spielgeraete. All play elements are manufactured from durable wood: alpine larch, robinia, and oak.

The Russian National Award for Landscape Architecture was held for the tenth time. The event organizers are the Association of Landscape Architects of Russia, the Union of Architects of Russia, and the Union of Moscow Architects. In 2019, prizes were awarded in 19 categories, among them newly developed public spaces and their designs, landscape architecture facilities for social purposes, integrated improvement of living environment and urban territory, urban planning solutions and concepts, restoration of landscape art monuments, and ecological and engineering design projects.
