Moscow’s Yakimanka District is home to some of the best state universities and institutes in Russia. Graduates of these universities are highly employable not only in Russia, but also abroad. Today, we will talk about universities that lie within 20 minutes of the complex.

On Krymsky Val street, there is the National University of Science and Technology (NUST MISIS). It can be reached from Polyanka/44 in 10 minutes by car. In 2019, NUST MISIS topped the ranking of the 100 best universities in Russia, according to Forbes magazine. On Malaya Ordynka street, located within walking distance of PSN Group’s Polyanka/44 complex, is the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs under the Higher School of Economics (HSE). The faculty offers Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in the field of global economics and international relations. In addition to the wide range of economic and mathematical disciplines, future international economists study humanities subjects. The curricula are rich in fundamental disciplines, including history, cultural studies, philosophy, logic, sociology, and psychology. Third-year students study the economics and politics of individual countries and regions, including the US, Canada, the UK, Germany, Latin America, China, India, and the Arab countries.
